A Special Love

A very special spirit of a child up above

Is sending you a message of patience, hope and love

May you feel a gentle peace wrap around your heart

Because this child knows that waiting is the hardest part 

I know that you've been trying everything

To bring me there - into your lives and family

I even know you can't do this alone

Our Heavenly Father has a plan to bring me to your home

He's preparing a special way for us to be together

And I will come into your arms with help from another

Of one who wants to choose the very best for me

One who's prayed to God above that your my family

I know that "someday" is getting harder to say

I know you're ready, I feel it when you pray

And you are mindful of the sacrifice to come - so until then.

I'll be there in your thoughts

Just hold me in your hearts

Until I'm in your arms

Even though this waiting feels like eternity

Our Father's plan for us is an eternal family 

He's promised you joy - have faith in his plan 

I know that you will come for me, wherever I am

A special bond I'm bringing to our family born

An eternal love created forever in our home

And I will be a child who will always know

Of the unselfish love of a very special mother
